| :: So, in an effort to make SFS.com even more interactive, I decided to incorporate a page with an aim of just that. From time to time, questions - some related to low-carb, some not - will be added here for you to answer if you like! :: |
| Share your hair mishaps! Since November, I have chopped 16" (41 cm) off my hair. While my regular colorist was out on maternity leave through '07 and I was trying out allover color in lieu of my regular full-head highlight at the time, her substitute used bleach on my hair unbeknownst to me - a faulty tactic considering I'm faintly intolerant to it, & am a natural blonde never requiring bleach to achieve a baby-blonde anyway. Well, after my regular colorist returned & saw the color formula, the substitute had a stern talking-to, & all the necessary changes were made: 4" were chopped on this day & I was back to my highlights; then another 4" in January, & another 5" in March. Then, after the one home color attempt I've tried in the past decade went wrong in May (foolish decision!), my hair had just had it. So, off came a final 3" in June. I want my hair long again, but not at the expense of nasty damage - so, I had to pay the piper by chopping it! Thankfully, my hair grows at least an inch per month, & this jaw-length bob is a nice change anyway ... it's just never been this short! Let's just say I'm taking my 7.5 mg of Biotin in the meantime. | June 23rd, 2008 At Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City Taken after lunch at Louie's on the Lake - the best burgers in OKC. I always have the bunless Big Lou Cheeseburger with cheddar, no mustard, no salt, & substitute the fries for a Caesar sans croutons, dressing on the side. |
