Changes at SugarFreeSheila.com
After close to ten years of dedicating the majority of my personal
time to assisting my SugarFreeSheila.com visitors with Atkins,
fitness, style, beauty, skincare, makeup, & life tips/advice, the e-mail
volume has become more than I can manage.
Even with the hours I devote daily to answering these messages,
sadly I can barely scrape the surface. E-mails are frequently bounced
back to senders due to a full mailbox - and even after getting
through, my visitors often must endure a rather lengthy waiting
period before hearing back from me. Frustrating for all involved.
That's the nature of the beast for a growing, long-standing website;
however for me, it's going to necessitate some changes. Since it is
virtually impossible to rank visitor e-mail in order of importance, and
impractical for me to spend many hours just sifting through e-mail
from site visitors who have not first read Dr. Atkins' New Diet
Revolution, my full Atkins FAQ, and User Agreement prior to
contacting me with questions, I have decided to implement a nominal
weekly fee for those serious site visitors who wish to contact me on
a regular basis and have me at their disposal.
Truly serious about Atkins? Then YOU come first - and only.

- Site remains free - i.e., not
password-protected with a
demanded fee. - No ads - you'll still get none
of that here. In other words,
I continue to refuse to sell
my soul to sponsors who
color my site's content, recs,
or any of my advice. - No site donation requests.
- I still don't advertise, ever.
Word-of-mouth only. - Facebook & Twitter are both
private accounts, and still
free as ever.

| A word about e-mails I continue to love my SugarFreeSheila.com e-mail (and IMs & texts) as much as ever, and do not plan on decreasing the time I devote to replying to it all. However, with the sheer increased volume that is par for the course for any established website also comes more non-serious contacts to sort through. Those who are sincere and in need of immediate attention suffer as a result, since it takes me much longer to get back to them. So, to alleviate the above to the best of my ability, I've created a single hoop. Getting back to basics. |
